Award for Excellence in Science and Maths

School projects

Last year we took part in the Discovery Primary Science Programme. Discover Primary Science (DPS) is the national programme to foster interest in science Maths and engineering among children in primary schools.

Participating schools carry out a range of science activities in the classroom and are also encouraged to undertake additional explorative activities and projects.
The school are delighted to announce the awarding of Discover Primary Science and Maths Plaque of STEM Excellence for the 201617academic year The whole school has worked hard with experiments, investigations, Science and Maths fairs to achieve this award. This year the criteria were increased to show evidence of engagement in
Communication Technology in addition to Science, Maths and Engineering. Well done everybody!
