To: whom it may concern
In Ms. Ambrose's class [4th, 5th and 6th class] have had a very busy 2 months this year. We have been doing Art, Book Reports, Drama and much, much more!
For Art we have been doing Pointillism, Work in Paint and building Constructions. We were very committed to our projects and we learned a lot.
For history we have been doing projects about the local area and we got to pick what our projects were about. For example mine was about Myths, Stories and Legends. Another thing we did was a project on Vikings and we had to fill an A2 sheet full of facts or make a book and do the same. Listening to everyone's projects was very fun and interesting.
For Music we are learning how to play the tin whistle and we already learned a few cool songs. We are also entered in the National Children's Choir [N. C. C.] and we have to learn 8 songs by the end of November.
For English we have been doing Book Reviews for homework. Ms. Ambrose would give us 2 or 3 weeks to read a book of our choice and 3 weeks later we have to do a Book Review. It's good because it encourages us to read.
For P.E. [Physical Education] this year we have started doing gymnastics and we are doing G.A.A. training and the boys are going to the matches and we will keep you updated on our scores.
For Geography we have been looking at counties and mountain ranges. We have done a test on the counties and after the mid-term we will have a test on the mountain ranges.
We have also done an anti-bullying workshop and a woman called Kate came in and we did an anti-bullying workshop.
And last but not least we have started on our S.A.L.F.'s [Self Assessment and Learning Folder's] which is full of our best work and we got to design the cover.
So if you ask me it has been a very progressive 2 months and a fun 2 months as well. So I hope you all have a lovely Halloween.
