Creative Clusters – Schools Excellence Fund
Creative Clusters is a pilot initiative of the Department of Education and Skills, led by and in partnership with the Association of Teacher Education Centres Ireland (ATECI). Creative
During the academic year 2018 2019, we applied for and took part in a cluster with Greystones Educate Together and Newtown Primary School.

The theme of ‘Inclusion’ was chosen and the children created poetry, drama improvisations and animations while exploring this theme.

Clusters provide schools with access to creative people, skills and resources that will support them to draw on their own skills and experiences and those within their wider
communities.

A further year has been approved for 2019 2020 and we are all looking forward to what this might bring.
