Parent’s Association

St. Patrick’s N.S. has a very active parents association.
All parents of children enrolled in the school are automatically members of the Parents association.

The Parents Association is affiliated to the National Parents Council and have a constitution agreed upon by all members.

Activities carried out by the Parents Association are organised by a committee elected in September of each school year.

The Parents Association are very active in fund raising, maintaining the school grounds, operating the school library system on a weekly basis for all pupils, supporting an Irish reading programme in the school, organising very successful book-fairs and healthy eating days.

The Association also organise school walks, parties for the children making their First Holy Communion and Confirmation and special treats at Christmas and Easter.

All parents/guardians of pupils in the school are encouraged to get involved in the many projects organised by the Parents Association during the year.
